What a beautiful two days in the village! Incredible musical talent flooded our streets and music venues this weekend, with day and night performances held in all along Coolman Street. We held a two day market to complement the festival, and it was brimming with fabulous handmade wares, food, drinks and more.
We are excited to announce that Tyalgum Village Market will be hosting a special two-day weekend Market coinciding with the Tyalgum Music Festival on September 12 & 13.
Tyalgum comes alive with music, arts, crafts, locally-made breads and preserves this magical weekend mid-September.
Stalls are held within the beautiful grounds of Celestial Dew Guesthouse, right next door to Flutterbies Cottage Cafe. Additional stalls and live music can be discovered in front the shops on Vintage Corner – corner of Balluna and Coolman Sts, so be sure to take a stroll down the main street throughout the day!
What a wonderful weekend for Tyalgum. The town and its glorious historic buildings came alive with the sweet resonance of classical music, jazz and Acapella voices, from the Tyalgum Hall right down to the Orpheum bookshop corner.
Along with the main performances at the Hall, villagers and visitors enjoyed an abundance of pop up performances in surprise venues such as The General Store, Tuscany Courtyard and of course the Flutterbucks stage in the heart of Flutterbies, going well into the night both Friday and Saturday night.
On Sunday we held a special Sunday pop up market in our usual grounds at Celestial Dew, which was vibrant and festive, with plenty of new handmade wares and treats for market goers, with wonderful music thanks to local trio The Heart Collectors.
Next month, our regular Saturday Market on October 25th will coincide with our annual Spring Fair, so save the date and bring your cash for those Christmas pressies!
Each September, the village of Tyalgum enjoys a weekend of superb musical talent, courtesy of the Tyalgum Music Festival.
The Festival is held over three days, commencing Friday September 12th and going through to Sunday September 14th.
We will be hosting a special Pop Up Market on Sunday, in the grounds of Celestial Dew Guesthouse (right next door to Flutterbies Cottage Cafe) as part of this celebratory weekend.
Be sure to stop by and wander through the gazebos filled with lovely handmade crafts, home baked breads and preserves, art and quality vintage wares.
If you would like a stall on the day, please contact Treni on 0416 019 757 or apply online.
We look forward to seeing you for the Tyalgum Music Festival!

Here we are in the lead up to our Village Market this coming Saturday, August 31st. It is looking to be a wonderful day out, with the warmth of Spring upon us now and the village awaft in the intoxicating aromas of jasmine blossoms.
This month’s market will be held on Bruce Bartrim Oval, directly opposite the Tyalgum Hall, on Coolman Street. This new location is due to a prior booking of the Hall for the weekend, and will give us a chance to trial the space before our two day Pop Up Market for the annual Tyalgum Festival of Classical Music the following weekend!
There will also be stalls and activity amongst the business premises, so be sure to wander down Coolman Street to enjoy all that Tyalgum has to offer on the day!
If you would like to book a stall for this market or the upcoming weekend September 7 & 8, please fill out the application form, or contact our Market Coordinator Treni Trovato on 0416 019 757.
Each September, Tyalgum comes alive with musicians and classical music afficionadoes alike celebrating the much-acclaimed acoustics of our historic Hall, at the Tyalgum Festival of Classical Music.
This year, we will be adding to the festivities with a weekend pop-up market, which will be held across the road from the Hall, on the Bruce Bartrim Oval grounds.
Market stalls will include handmade and artisan goods by local artists and traditional crafters, with items such as woodwork, silver jewellery, weaving, handmade candles, restored furniture and much, much more!
There will also be locally made organic breads, country-baked cakes, sausage sizzles, paintings by local artists, sewing stalls and other goodies amongst the shop premises along Coolman Street as part of the day, with everyone in the village joining the celebrations.
